1 Kermode bear, 7 years old 3 Alpaca (good for fiber, some milk -- 2 female, 1 male) 2 Llama (good as beasts of burden and for milk -- 1 male, 1 female) 5 large snakes (good for rodent management -- anaconda, 2 burmese pythons, 2 emerald tree boas) 2 Green Iguanas (good for insect management -- one of each gender) 19 angora goats (excellent for fiber--minimal milk production -- 17 females, 2 male from both Darlene and Tsuritsa)
75 Champagne D'Argent, Palomino, and Beveren rabbits (Meat rabbits). The Palomino and Beveren are prolific breeders.
45 English Angora and Giant Angora rabbits (raised for fiber) 23 Jersey Wooley (mini) rabbits (raised for fiber)
18 Satin Angora rabbits (raised for fiber -- not too many of these because, even though they make gorgeous yarn, they turned out not to yield that well, so we didn't keep a lot of them at the Retreat -- but Tsuri brought 6 more with her, so that brought the numbers up a bit). They are moderately prolific breeders.
